Maruti Suzuki issued a recall of 1.35 Lakh Cars primarily Wagon R and Baleno manufactured in between 2018 to 2019
Maruti Suzuki issued 1.35 Lakh Cars due to possible Fuel Pump issue as proactively identified by the company
As per Manufacturer
» Wagon R - Manufactured in between 15th November 2018 to 15th October 2019
» Baleno - Manufactured in between 8th January 2019 to 4th November 2019
Not all Cars, but around 56633 Units of Wagon R and around 78222 units of Baleno suspected to be with a probable issue in Fuel Pump. Do note that a Manufacturer has different vendors as supplier of Parts and seems one of the vendors supplying Fuel Pump has an issue.
As per Maruti Suzuki, the defected part would be replaced free of cost at Authorized workshop.
Any Safety Risk - There is no Safety Risk to be Panic about same, but customers are advised to check in for there Vehicle VIN Chassis Number as referred in Car RC / Invoice and check either

Offline through Workshop - Customer can also check through Authorized Workshop of Maruti Suzuki
Do note that if the Vehicle is Identified for Recall then Owner can contact in Maruti Suzuki Workshop for fixing an appointment for replacement of Faulty Part in Fuel Pump. This exercise for replacement will likely be done within 2 hours at workshop
No Cost needs to be Paid by Owner and no Labor Charges for Replacement of Fault Part of Fuel Pump !!
