Renault India seems testing in all new Kwid based 7 Seater MPV as Renault Triber in India
Renault India Sales is now heavily dependent on Kwid with almost 75% of its sales month on month attributed to Kwid
Newly launched Captur is unable to make any impact as has just only sold in 3000 Units in its first 7 months
Duster, despite of steep price cut is unable to make any impact as its sales now at just 1000 units a month. Lodgy struggling at 150 units a month
Its Kwid which is helping Renault Dealers to make money and is thus Renault India working upon an all new 7 Seater MPV based Version of Kwid and now announced in 2019 to be called as Renault Triber
» Front Fascia will be inspired from Kwid but with differentiation of 3 Slants Chrome Grille along with Projector and LED DRL and the car would be Long wheelbase version
» 1 Litre, 3 Cylinder Petrol Engine with 69 PS Power is what going to power in Renault Triber
» The Features list are expected to be comprehensive with even some add on Features as - Dual Airbags (instead of Driver Side), All 4 Power Window (as against Front Door as seen in Kwid), LED DRL and Parking Sensors as exclusive to Top End Model. Rest going to be more or less same with 7 Inch Multimedia AVN, Power Steering, Remote Central Lock, Piano Black Accent on Center Console as what seen in Kwid
» No Diesel Engine expected in all New Kwid 7 Seater MPV
» Most of the parts will be shared as what seen in Existing Kwid. Expect the Pricing to be higher to extent of Rs 1 Lakh to 1.2 Lakh over regular Kwid
» 5 Speed Manual Transmission and AMT with Rotary shift will feature in new Kwid
» 3rd Row Seats would be flexible enough to be detached completely or use it need based
» The launch is Planned for 2019 2nd quarter in Indian Market
