» Aware that Buyers in New Year - look for either 2023 Manufactured car or seek previous year Make car with Higher discounts
» Intend to sell Previous year Make stock on asap basis so as to liquidate blocked Inventory
This all end up resultant with even better schemes, negotiations across table by Dealer Manager with Customers and discounts roll up to even higher extent in later months of March, April - so as to clear Left over Inventory stock
But Before making a booking - there are 4 important checks should consider in and are listed below for easy reference
1. Decoding Manufacturing Month : First and Foremost thing - should ask a dealer in 2023 - is Manufacturing month of Car. There are some models, colors in dealer stock which could possibly be more than 6 month Old
Do not miss to Negotiate in higher discounts with dealer - if car is more than 6 month Old. Remember - the way you have requirement of car, in similar way the dealer has requirement to rotate funds by selling in Older Manufacturing Car. Holding a car in Inventory for long not only block in Stock - but also create Interest loss to dealer. So - the base of Negotiation should start based on Manufacturing month of car

2. Avoid Gimmick of Higher Discounts on 2023 Prices : Car Prices are increased Periodically and will also increase in January. A Dealer may show in Gimmick of slight higher discounts in 4 to 5 month Old Car. Remember - Car Prices increased in August - September on most of Models and again going to Increase in January
The Original Purchase cost of Dealer in June, July 2022 was lower and dealer may show discount schemes on Revised Prices in January. Important is to work up the deal with higher discount schemes so that it remains better value proposition
3. Benefits in terms of High Accessories Benefits : Some Dealerships will offer in Accessories Package as high benefits. Say Rs 50000 worth Accessories. Pls note that Accessories are priced higher at Dealerships and the actual worth would almost be equivalent to Rs 30000 Cash Discount.
Its recommended to get Benefits in form of Cash Discounts, and negotiate for cash discounts instead of accessories which are not required so as to have lower upfront cost of car as Ideal practice

4. If waited for High Discounts, then wait for February End, March :- January is the First month of the year and stock starts reaching dealership only after 1st week. Even the discount schemes on January 2023 Manufactured Cars would be lower. Dealerships tries to continue with December discount schemes in January and / or offer at higher discounts than December but based on New Prices
If have patience then wait till February / March for left over stock so as to get even better discounts.
