Renault 85PS authentication key to unlock the Music System

Every Renault Car has unique Authentication Key. Generally when the battery is disconnected then this Unique Authentication Key is asked to be punched in.

Suggest to check Media Navigation Manual & Car Owner Manual as given
Generally the authentication codes, key numbers are mentioned in it in the service booklet
if the dealer has mentioned Radio Code in it at the time of taking delivery, it would be a unique 4 digit authentication Key of Music System

Else - You may contact in your Renault Dealer and share in your Car
> Engine Number
> Chassis Number

or visit them . Probably - they can assist you (based on Engine-Chassis Number of car to identify Authentication key) or they need to punch in unique music system serial number in the Software - basis which the authentication key can be found.

I have the same issue. I read the whole manual from front to back and nowhere is mentioned the authentication key. One would think that if you own the car 100%, this type of information should be clearly disclosed. Now I need to go to the workshop. Such a waste of time.

i have a problem in my media nav that i cant open navigation menu in media so plz hlp to reslve it

u can download an app called renault radio code calculator in ur phone
go to start
give pre security code which comes in barcode label on the radio see the attachment

use last character 3 numbers followed then press calculator code
it generates code

I have the same issue my music system is locked and I have read the manual authentication key is not there so please help!!!!

My problem is that my car (renault kwid) NAV and MAP are not working, so what do I have to do for these

Just call any renault workshop and share your chasis no... they will provide you the authentation key. Search workshops number on google

As it is said every manual book at the end of the page i.e vehical record sheet(page) above they have given Radio code.

If you need to find out your radio code, please send me an email with your VIN Nr (and if you have. the radio precode. This is normaly the last 4 digits in the serial number on your radio (i.e. A123)).

My car was not starting due to battery issue as it got drained so after push from back of car it got started. After that my car radio not accepting the 4 digit authentication code, which is correctly entered.

I am pressing OK button, but it does not accept. Also, whenever I start the car Radio automatically starts and asking for password.

Please help on it.
