I stay in Mumbai. I plan to buy Alcazar - signature O (auto or Dct). Confused between
a. Diesel or turbo petrol and
b. Also confused between adventure edition or regular edition.
c. Choice of colour is khaki green in AE and starry night in regular.

Usage is usual 75-25 city-highway. Can you pls help on these 3 points

Thanks so much

Dear Sanjay ji,

With introduction of Turbo Petrol DCT last year in Alcazar - it addressed in 2 biggest issues of car
a. Where performance earlier felt was medicore in 2 Litre NA engine, now feel significantly engaging in new 1.5 Litre Turbo Petrol with 160 PS Power and 250 NM Torque

b. 7 Speed DCT is lightning quick and best mated with this turbo petrol -

so enthusiasts who were like compelled to go in for Diesel one can definitely consider this 1.5 Turbo Petrol DCT Option for similar level of performance but even an edge in scinitillating gear shift movements in this DCT - leaving to even more fun experience

Only advantage of Diesel choice is lower running cost - but after introduction of smaller 1.5 Litre Engine (in petrol as against 2 Litre one earlier)-and 1 Lakh on road price difference - dont think you should look out for Diesel unless average monthly usage is more than 1000 Kms a month

In Adventure Edition:- Its essentially Signature Plus but with
a. Adventure edition Kit (Stylish Black Alloys, Side Door Cladding, Dark Chrome Finish in Interiors, Exteriors along with Black out Grille, Tail Light etc) - which definitely stands out in even more superior wow presence of this SUV
b. Dashcam as factory end fitment but dont have much high expectations as average dashcam

and you pay in near Rs 40,000 higher
as essentially Signature Edition gets cosmetic treatment and for those who seek a SUV for road presence or were willing to spend more for road presence of car - can opt for this Adventure kit else Signature option is good

Kind note that no difference in handling, performance, suspension or space wise

Color: Both are dark colors but Khaki Color with Abyss black looks the most differentiating for road presence and enhances appeal.
Having said same - this color wont be available after-market and should exclusively maintain with company workshop for any paint touchups (if required).

Should help !!

Thanks so much Gagan ji for clarifying my doubts. There’s a friend of mine Gaurav Goyal, based in Madrid, Spain who looks and speaks also just like you - so I really enjoy watching all your videos - as if I am interacting or listening to Gaurav !

Also - one last help - both Alcazar DCT AE khaki and Creta sx tech ivt with Adas - emerald pearl is ready for delivery - diff in on road price is 2.8 lac, thanks to Alcazar discount - what do you think is the option between these two should I go for !

Thanks so much once again and best regards

:) .. Whats in a name - glad to hear in to be there for you.
Coming to Creta IVT and Alcazar Turbo DCT - well - significant differences

a. Creta is for relaxed drive, comfort,
b. Alcazar 2nd row infact has lesser space than Creta rear seat due to placement of 3rd row in Alcazar - so comfort wise Creta has better seating comfort too
c. Alcazar rather has more fun oriented SUV feel with superior fun experience in DCT

If you have maximum usage for day to day within city and a 5 seater SUV meets in neet - you wont go with Creta Sx IVT
Else for fun, performance and road presence is Hyundai Alcazar.

Dear Sanjay Sir,

Only detail available through given VIN is that its MY 2024 BS6 Phase 2, OBD2 emission compliant car
Rest manufacturing month details are masked by Hyundai and can only be known through Hyundai official DMS - Dealer management system - so you have to check with dealer on same.
