Dear Sir,
I am confused between XUV 700 AX3 5 seater vs taigun kushaq in same price band.
XUV offers space, but not sure about driving in city. I am living in Himachal atm but might shift to a bigger city going forward.
My main driving would be a mix of city and weekend travel with family of 3 with occasions where 5 people will be traveling including my parents. Please suggest which car should I go for.
We are concerned by the after sales service of skoda/vw and that is why considering XUV 700 also price is same for AX3.

Mahindra XUV700 Mx3 although is basic model but is true value for money for buyers who seek a
> Most Powerful Petrol Engine in sub 15 Lakh (Exshowroom price car)
> Seek unmatched Cabin Space with plenty of legroom, shoulder room in rear
> Top Notch Comfort in Suspension
> Proven 5 Star Build Quality
> Despite base model - has all essentials including touchscreen, Power Steering, Power Window, Central Lock, Electric ORVM, Digital Instrument cluster
> Carries Tag of XUV700 as most successful car and high on resale perspective too
But - biggest issue: Availability as XUV700 Mx production is very limited in numbers been OEM production batches pertains to Ax7 L, Ax7 on highest followed next is Ax5 and Mx3 carries very limited prodction batch.
Do note that XUV700 Mx3 as booked by some even 6 months back is till far from delivery.
Point is: If you comparing XUV700 Mx3 against VW Taigun / Skoda Kushaq Middle trims - there are only 2 ways in which XUV700 is behind
a. Features - Kushaq/Taigun Middle Trim carries much more features
b. Mileage - expect single digit in XUV700 Petrol
c. Not easier to park - you need camera - still parking in XUV700 is not as ease as Taigun, Kushaq
Rest - this larger size 2 Litre, 4 cylinder GDI Petrol Engine feels lot fun as against 1 Litre Engine of Kushaq, Taigun. Plus

> Road Presence
> Performance
XUV700 Mx3 is a better pick

Thank you for your response. I agree it is better pick but they had some suspension noise issue hopefully it is resolved in new batch. What are your thoughts about the stability of car vs the Germans and czechs

Although Body roll is slight higher in XUV700 and indeed cabin insulation levels marginally higher (VW / Skoda 1.0 Engines too are noisier and Aircon setup is noisier too), but Mahindra too silently reckoned in many issues in car in last 2 yr (since time was launched in August 2021.
At the price point given if seek a bigger car feel with unmatched space, road presence and powerful engine - XUV700 Mx Series is a decent pick.
