Confused in buying Premium Hatchback Car in 10 to 12 Lac Budget

I understand that you seek a premium hatchback but more details needed to assist in recommending best.
Pls reply on below to assist on best car:-

a) Preference of Manual or 2 Pedal Cars (like AMT / IMT / AT):

b) Are you looking for a majorly city usage car or mix use of city and highway. Would you be driving on poor build roads too or maximum usage in Bumper to Bumper conditoon

c) Which city will be using car and what would be expected average monthly / annual usage

d) Space Aspect - is it going to be a family car with rear seat space to be used more often or a small nuclear family with kids to occupy the rear seat or solo use car or Senior Members to use in this car.

e) Any Specific preference factors in next car - Like Aspiration of Sunroof or Uncompromised Build with 5 star rating or High on Mileage etc.

With more details as shared - can suggest best one for need.

Hyderabad City
Looking only for Automatic Cars
Monthly usage <500kms | Long Drive once a month
Family of 3 with 1 kid.

Preference -
Safe
Reliable Car
Decent Resale

My choices -
Amaze CVT VX (Fits all my criteria except it doesn’t feel premium)
Baleno (Good but not safe) - Rejected
Nexon XMA(S)- Love the car but hate the AMT transmission. (Willing to wait if there are plans for TC/CVT launch)
Altroz - Heard bad reviews about DCA transmission
Is VW Polo coming back? (If yes, then that'd be 1st preference)

So my answer would be Amaze, if you're okay with the interior feel.
Baleno, if you'd want good resale and better mileage
Altroz, if you'd want a safe car

I'd personally buy the Amaze if I'm buying now (4*, Reliable IVTEC engine & CVT), or wait for VW Polo if at all its coming back
