Dear Imran,
Hi. Greetings !!
Maruti Ignis yes got BS6 Ph2 Compliant Petrol Engine as upgrade and indeed gets
> ESP
> Hill Hold Assist as standard
But the price hike is substantial to tune of Rs 27000 and if you plan to go ahead with it - the car will eventually cost in Rs 60,000 more than the deal you have for MY 2022 Stock
For reference
> Deal you have is 5.6 Lakh for MY 2022 Ignis
> Deal is Rs 5.9 Lakh for MY 2023 BS6 ph1
and with increased prices for BS6 Ph2 and even limited offers at beginning the car will eventually end up to be near around 6.25 to 6.35 Lakh
Although ESP is something which can act as differentiator and in BS6 Ph2 Engine refinement is even better - but spending Rs 60,000 higher for same is like too much. You can even get in Ignis Delta MY 2022 stock if unsold at dealer counter.
Pls note that
> There is no change in structural strength
> Ignis BS6 Phase 1 engine is pretty refined in itself and can get work done
> There is no change in mileage as of now claimed by OEM with similar 20.89 Kmpl in both ph1 and ph2
Only for Hill Assist and ESP and some fine tune up refinement for BS6 ph2 - 60,000 would be too much a difference Ignis Sigma
If Car Ownership horizon going to be 5 yrs or more - i suggest to take deal of MY 2022 one (provided car is not more than 6 months old) as superior value proposition experience.
In terms of Deal per se for
Prices in Lucknow - 5.65 Lakh is an excellent deal
Alternative: See alternative are basis need
If your majority of drive going to be in local use then basis
> More comfort oriented drive
> Even Light Steering
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Era is a great value pick.
However if you seek Ground clearance as factor then although Tata Punch is an excellent option but without any discounts Punch Pure base model will be like 1 Lakh higher from Ignis Sigma
So - it has to be Ignis Sigma MY 2022 or if not into fact of too much Ground clearance part then Grand i10 Nios Era is a great value pick
Hope should help !!
