Nitesh ji,

Hi, pls find inputs

a) Exshowroom - 15.86,100 - correct

b) Road Tax - 2,99,299 - Dealer charging as per actuals and not charging any commission or brokerage
But, Karnataka has one among highest road tax zones in India. Are you eligible for BH - Bharat Series Number plate
If you are part of Central or State Government Employee - can get BH Number plate and save in more than a Lakh in tax payment plus payment will also be done in pro-rata basis. Details BH Series

c) Insurance - 86,947 - gross overpriced and put in rack rate figures
Looks like dealer offering 20,000 cash discount from same to make final effective premium of Rs 66,947. Kind note that Insurance OD Rates are offered with 60% to 70% Discount

For instance Premium with HDFC Ergo is Rs 49265 with 1 year OD Cover along with
a) Zero Dep Insurance
b) Engine Protect cover
c) Return to Invoice
d) Key Loss Cover
e) 3 year Third Party
and GST inclusive

Same policy if bought through Online Aggregator
1. National Insurance - Rs 30734 including Zero Dep and Return to Invoice as add on cover over 1 year OD and 3 year Third Party
2. Royal Sundaram - Rs 43298 including Zero Dep, Engine Protect, Key loss, consumables - attached

So point is
1. Show these quotes to dealer and reduce insurance premium further by another Rs 15000 minimum
or
2. Buy Online through HDFC Ergo or if Royal Sundaram has good presence then Royal Sundaram.
May check National if ready for PSU Insurance companies who have there own claim settlement process but National is leader in PSU PLayers

d) TCS and Fastag is okay an correct
TCS payment as done can later on be claimed while filing returns as advance tax paid

e) Hyundai offers different packages from
> 5 yr / 60K Kms
> 5 yr / 1 Lakh Kms
> 5 yr / 1.4 Lakh Kms
with different prices, basis your projected average annual running choose one pack

f) Standard Accessories - Hyundai Accessories are pretty medicore to my view
If not interested in Chrome or any accessories involving wiring connections like Subwoofer etc then recommend to avoid it and buy from aftermarket

g) Shield of Trust is waste in Automatic cars . As coverage under SOT Program for Automatic Cars
> Brake Pads, Brake Disc, Brake Shoe
> Suspension Components (Engine Mounting, Lower Arm, Bushes)
> Fuse Replacement
> Wheel Cylinder
> Wiper Blade
> Auxillary Belt
> Hoses
> Window Winder
> Bulbs (Headlight, Tail Light, Indicator, Parking Light)

Been Engine Mount ./ Lower Arm do not get bad on its own unless driven too much in off road and Brake Disc has decent life
Its not worth to spend in 25K for same

So, overall your final Deal should be
> Exshowroom - 15.86 Lakh
> RTO Road Tax - 2.99 Lakh
> FastAg, HP, Registration - 3.1K
> Insurance with Add on covers - 50K (rounded off)
> 5 yr / 60K Kms Warranty Cover - 13.5K
> TCS - 15.9K
> Accessories - best to avoid - priced higher with pretty average quality

So all inclusive - Rs 19.67 Lakh should what be the deal price

Hope should help !!

Insurance is a risk coverage product and for a risk coverage offering - one should always make an attempt to buy
a) From 'A' Grade Insurance company having nation wide presence, clear settlement process
b) Has Presence in every District with own Inhouse Team of Surveyors with clear escalation
c) Has top Notch ratings from ICRA / CRISIL or both
d) Is an Established Brand with long history of claim servicing

For same - Car Insurance is ideal if you choose any one in
1. ICICI Lombard
2. Bajaj Allianz
3. HDFC Ergo
4. Tata AIG
5. Royal Sundaram
in private sector

to
1. National Insurance
2. New India Assurance
in PSU - which are established players,

Rest is upto a buyer discretion if he's ready to risk on it by taking lower insurance products.

Hope should help !!
