My dealer is advising me to do

1. 3M under body anti rust costing 4,459. He is saying it will be easy to do in new car. I was thinking to wait for 2 yrs or so because there will be coating from OEM which can last for few yrs. Please advise whether it is beneficial to do and also cost he is quoting is appropriate or not.

2. Floor lamination treatment leather (advantage in rain season and easy cleaning) costing 5500. Is this really required ? can you suggest some good Floor mat (as there are plenty of choices available in market) that can serve the purpose (easy to clean liquid spills, and also not smelly)

3. I wanted to have an accessory for side and bumper protection and door edges but dealer side utility package for body color is costing 11700. It seems too expensive. can you suggest any other after market alternative for it that will look good on white amaze. I also asked one accessory shop abt this they dont have body color side and bumper protection as honda dealer has but he suggested chrome utility package which is costing just 2000 rs hence not sure about its quality

4. Also is there any accessory for anti theft of alloy wheels cover ?

Thanks and regards

Hello Aniket ji

1. Anti Rust Coating not required in new car unless staying in zone with
a) All round monsoon season
b) Next to coastal area

Reasoning referred in this video

2. Rather than lamination thing - consider in 3M Nomad floor mats or any good quality or 3D Kagu mats which although expensive are best experience in mats a car can have

3. Rather than body colored which ofcourse would be expensive - chrome one are popular
However, after market chrome mostly is sub-standard, recommended to check if chrome accessories available as genuine one from manufacturer side. If yes then go for same.
