Dear Raj,
Hi. Sure
Before i recommend best buy - some pointers :-
1. You specified that Magnite rear seat legroom space as challenging as against Kiger, Infact fact is
a) Magnite has slight better under-thigh support on rear seats but yes due to same legroom gets a minor hit and Kiger feels slight more spacious
b) Relative raised seats in Magnite with window lines placed lower - so feels relative better from visibility perspective
Having said same - still Kiger wins over Magnite as ride for rear seat passengers as feels more comfy in Kiger as against Magnite
Suspension plays a key role and Kiger has a definite edge towards same
2. Maruti Baleno is AMT and although AMT is lot more improvised but still at any given day Kiger Turbo CVT feels more refined with linear smooth pickup and has superior gearbox transmission unit as against Baleno.
3. Even if you compare Suspension of Baleno and Kiger - its Kiger which can ride better especially on typical indian roads with potholes
Adding on you referred Ground clearance as a factor too - Kiger needless to mention scores better with 205 mm as against 165 mm in Baleno
4. But from Engine refinement, NVH Vibrations, Ergonomics - Baleno wins hands down over Kiger
Engine noise levels feels higher in Kiger. Secondly - Renault after sales service experience scores much lower over Maruti as per JD Power CSI Index, Maruti has proven after sales service experience
5. But Renault Kiger scored 4 Star in Global NCAP and although has 4 airbags, but Maruti on other hand offer ESP with 6 airbags but without any data which proves Baleno to be as safer as Kiger or even better.
6. Renault Kiger in Sport mode feels more fun, but Maruti Baleno at any given day is more fuel efficient
7. Maruti Baleno steering feedback is good for city but Renault Steering feedback, handling is better on higher speed as weight is more
Coming to Kiger and Baleno Selection
Baleno - ideal for city use with fuel efficiency. Proven with High reliability
Kiger - where ride, handling, gearbox transmission, more fun to drive is involved is kiger
Now ESP although a fair important safety element and in no way justifying that ESP if not there can be ignored but if without ESP - it means if theres loss of traction - no ESP will be there
To make a roundway
a) Drive under controlled speed in rainy season when wet roads
b) Drive with gap with front vehicle and try to restrict speed under 100 kmph on highway
So if you are somewhat whos has good driving experiene - will still prefer Kiger RXZ CVT over Baleno AMT (with only big downside of after sales service experience).
For Insurance - B2b - essentially zero dep insurance with engine protection cover is recommended
For Deal - if you select this car, do share deal quote will let know areas to save
ALternative Buy in 13 Lakh: Wait for New Brezza Automatic with host of enhancements launching on 30th or check out Diesel one XUV300 W6 Diesel AMT (remember Petrol AMT is pretty average - its the Diesel AMT which shines). Have test drive of XUV300 Diesel AMT as high possibility that will be impressed (except limited boot. interior aesthethics and plastic)
Hope should help !!
