Dear Manindar,
Hi. Greetings !!
Sure, some pointers
1. Used Car Prices are relative higher in Bangalore (Karnataka) due to country highest road tax been charged in
Thats the reason why New Cars too cost relative higher there, and thus a premium charged on Used Cars as against many other locations
2. As its your first car. You have shortlisted in ideal time frame of 4 yrs to 5 yrs
For same ideal Kms should be if 40,000 Kms in Petrol and 60,000 Kms in Diesel is fair enough
3. As checked this car Honda Jazz as shortlisted by you and url shared is what driven 1.35 Lakh Kms which is what driven in just 6 yrs
Thats relative higher odo reading and for such high mileage driven car - asking price is steep and even could be potential concerns as such hiugh odo cars need comprehensive checkup been a car made up of so many wear & tear including suspension. Also AC Compressor, Turbo, Compression ratio, EGR - this car just needs too many detailed checkup with precision
Not recommended to consider such high odo reading car
4. Second link as shared of 1.41 Lakh Kms drive I20 Diesel with Insurance expriing in July - simply overpriced
Also it was not top end model
Eventually - these cars as out for sale are overpriced and also has much higher odo reading
Suggestion
First of all make criteria that dont consider buying Diesel car beyond 60K Kms Max
Like i checked randomly for used car in Bangalore. Example
https://www.spinny.com/buy-used-cars/bangalore/honda/jazz/sv-diesel-btm-layout-2015/3567414/?referrer=/used-1st-owner-diesel-cars-under-5-lakh-rs-in-bangalore/s/
This Jazz SV Diesel 2015 Model with 60K Kms odo reading was there for sale at 4.98 Lakh
You should search on Diesel cars of 2015 or 16 Make but under 60K Kms and with service records as thats of utmost importance to check whether car was accidental ? and how well the car was maintained by previous owner with service history
Second criteria - car should be in 2015 to 2017 Make for better value
Third criteria - to check for Used Car with Verified service history
4th Criteria - you need to decide on Petrol or Diesel
Diesel cars yes are more fuel efficient but there upkeep and service components are relative higher in later years with comparative higher insurance premium too. If you usage not going to be more than 7500 Kms a year - a Petrol car is like ideal and can get more options in budget specified.
5th Criteria - Opt for Model which is what available with ABS and Dual Airbags
Overall Recommendation
I dont recommend these 2 cars as specified in URL.
Recommended to search basis criteria as specified.
Hope should help !!
