Dear Sir,

I need your support and best advice to buy a Maruti Suzuki Scross Zeta MT.
I follow Gagan sir's videos. Those videos are really very good and informative.

I am from a lower middle class family and a salaried person. Till date I have been using a maruti used car but my existing car is near to it's EOL.
So, I have decided to buy a new Suzuki S-Cross. I have already joined the Scross-Brezza whatsapp group. But still need your direct advice to buy the car.

I have already visited the Nexa showroom(Bangalore) and taken the test drive of the S-Cross car. I liked the car. After watching Gagan sir's latest videos on the impact of war, I am thinking of buying the car by this March end.

The Nexa showroom's RM quoted the price of the car Rs.11,98,659.00 .
I have attached the reference price list(the price list of last year. Consumer offer is now Rs.15000).

Now I need your advice on:
1. I can not pay the full amount in cash. So I am thinking of going with a car loan for Rs. 6 lacs. I am thinking of taking a car loan from SBI.
My target is to close the loan amount on or before 3 years.

Is SBI the best option for car loan?
How to get the best deal?
What are the points I should take care of while taking the loan?
Is there any option to reduce the loan amount partly as soon as I have some accumulated money in my hand?

2. From the attached price list is there any way to reduce the total cost?
I am thinking of not taking the Suzuki connect and extended warranty. This may reduce the total cost of the car.

3. What are the minimum accessories I should take from the attached list?

4. Is there any way to get tax benefits as I am taking out a loan (I am salaried)?

5. I am not a good bargainer. How to get the best deal from the dealer?

Please help.

Note: I have attached the payment receipt of premium support.
Please share your direct number to discuss over-call, if possible.

Waiting for your response.

Thanks,
Rajat

Dear Rajat Sahab,

Hi Greetings, Hope doing great
Happy to assist and here are some pointers to make a right choice

1. If you considering for a short term loan tenor of 3 yrs. Recommendation is
> Apply for loan tenor of 3 yrs. Dont go for longer tenor as this may look like lower EMI but here prinicpal payment will be too lower in initial months and by the time you think of closing loan - outflow will be higher. Check Car Loan Amortisation Schedule

> Instead of going with SBI @ 7.25% rather choose PNB (if credit score is good) whos offering Car Loan at 6.75% for someone with CIBIL Score of 750 and above and even offering
a) 100% Processing fees waiver till 31st March
b) No Upfront Documentation charge
c) After 2 yr can foreclose loan or part pay loan without any add on charges

Although. yes its a floating rate and linked to reverse repo linked rate and yes interest rate will tend to increase in near future but 50 bps difference is substantial in between PNB and SBI and even if 25 bps difference remained for more than a year - still its worth to consider in PNB

2. Suzuki connect is slight gimmick and can be ignored yes
I suggest to opt for extended warranty as spending 17,000 means like spending 1.5% of value of car and gives peace of mind ownership till 5th year
But yes Rs 20,000 worth accessories package can safety be ignored. You do not need that kind of accessories in pretty feature loaded Zeta model. Instead negotiate for free mats, mud flaps, perfume, sun door visor, rat mesh which can easily be done

3. Avoid in other accessories and no seat covers too
This car comes with Black Fabric seats which do not look stain as much as beige seats
can easily get clean using 3M Foam Cleaner
Suggest to check this video

3. Unfortunatelay - No Tax Benefits and no depreciation benefits for salaried and no deduction benefits on car loan interest
However as you buying in Banaglore why dont you check for BH Bharat Series Number plate
If eligible - this will reduce on road price of car and also gives flexibility with lower upfront cost of car as road tax is required to be paid only on pro-rata basis. Pls check BH Bharat Series Tax Calculator

4. For Loan Negotiation pls involve 3 dealers and use technique as stated in video

A good deal would be free accessories as referred and additional discount of upto rs 10K provided car is in dealer stockyard

Hope should help
Feel free to connect for any queries on same.
