Dear Dr Sahab

Hi, hope doing all great !!
Although Nissan Magnite CVT can be considered for someone having maximum in city usage and suspension is on firm side to contain body roll on higher speed but Handling dynamics as Steering Feedback is a big letdown.

Adding on
> Limited after sales service network with most of the locations have single dealer owned network

> Dependency on Nissan India on Magnite and fact that Datsun Brand and Kicks sales combined is not even 500 units a month. With Citroen C3 (although will be pitched as hatch - but cues of SUV), Hyundai Micro SUV in line along with Tata Punch will also eat up sales - Nissan Magnite if sales impacted can impact Nissan Future of Indian Market

Recommendation
If you have requirement of Highway Usage and slight flexible on budget then look out for
> Maruti S Cross Zeta Automatic Petrol
or if cant exceed in budget then
> Maruti Vitara Brezza Vxi Automatic or Toyota Urban Cruiser Mid Automatic

Why S Cross
> More Spacious - More Premium - Better Fit and Finish
> 4 Cylinder Petrol ENgine has superior NVH Levels
> Although 4 speed Automatic but tuned for much better response in real world with light foot
> Maruti Proven reliability, competitive cost of ownership
> Suspension is on firm note so highway stability is better
> Well Stocked with Features List in S Cross Zeta Automatic

Else if dont want to exceed in budget then Toyota Urban Cruiser Mid Automatic
> Suspension on comfort oriented side
> 1.5 Litre engine has enought low end grunt
> 4 star Safety Rated Car and build on by modifying Suzuki Global Platform
> Toyota after sales service network is less crowded and superior after sales service experience

Yes - interior aesthetics, fit and finish and plastic quality not great but still at price point at which this car available is impressive
Suggest to experience in S Cross Zeta Automatic if flexible to increase upper end of budget else Toyota Urban Cruiser Mid Automatic can be a decent consideration.

You can check on Price and Features in New Car Section of Website

Hope should help !!

Hi,

Biggest Issue with Nexon Diesel AMT is
> Pause effect of AMT during drive
> Engine Noise levels on higher speed
> Cabin do not feel as well insulated on highway

AMT is relative on jerkier basis in Diesel Model as against Petrol and if you dont like Nexon petrol AMT - chances are that wont like Diesel AMT
Thus not recommended Nexon for need.

Adding on if you dont like Maruti - no issues
> Although rebadged Brezza but Pls have test driive of Urban Cruiser from Toyota
> Else Mahindra XUV300 W6 Diesel AMT if slight flexible on budget

Hope should help !!

Ok Congratulations for Nexon AMT
While you plan to buy same - some recommendation

1. Opt for Extended Warranty scheme for 5 yr Tenure

2. Avoid Gold AMC as its pretty much on higher side

Hope should help !!

Thank you sir for your help
i have made up my mind.. going to book nexon amt xma(s). Reasons
1) Tata showroom is there in my home town but not mahindras
2) price difference of 70k between both mid spec models. as the tata showroom is offering good deal on insurance at 34k from originally quoted price of 49k. additional 5k discount on nexon for doctors.
3)Mileage of nexon diesel is slightly on higher side and off course bigger boot space.
i think it's not a bad choice at 12.6 lac on road
