Dear Suresh ji,

Greetings !!

While choosing a car important is to have preferences clear

There are 3 big USP of MG Astor
1. Autonomous Level 2 Safety which is what publicized by OEM as key highlight including adaptive cruise control, Speed Alert System, Lane Departure Warning Assist, Collission Warning, Intelligent Hedlight Control, Blind Spot Detection

Although these safety features yes has charm but to our view nothing comes close to human senses
An active human sense is way better and chances are that this level 2 autonomous safety may never come handy

2. Personal AI Assistant Feature with Interactive Interface
Its nothing but a small gadget given a human face with voice sensed movements.
Although this may look like a smart feature - but chances are you will be bored in few weeks to months
Yes Voice command has its own charm - but as what checked on MG Car range across models including 3x priced Gloster too - at many occassions voice command is not understood by system or takes time to process

3. Styling Statement with all new Front Grille Design, Interior Layout with a car which has slight bigger dimensions against Creta

But, be assured when it comes to
> Driving Dynamics
> Comfort Oriented Ride
> Hyundai Proven Reliability
> Marginally More Powerful
> Proven in After Sales Service experience
> Immaculate Resale Value Factor
> Relative better under-thigh support and neck support

its Hyundai Creta Sx Option IVT which leads and is what recommended as a pick over MG Astor
yes you need to spend in close to 1.25 Lakh more but nothing comes close to Hyundai Proven and Credible experience which makes it more value for money

Recommended Hyundai Creta Sx Option IVT for your need, requirement.

Hope should help !!

Dear Suresh ji,

Hi - hope doing great
As your maximum usage is within city drive and budget too on your side - its important to put money in a car which offers
> Convenience
> Stress Free Drive

Although Manual Transmission has soft clutch, but Automatic offers convenience of
> Clutch free experience
> Freedom from manually changing gears
> Has creep mode in traffic condition where driver just need to apply brakes and release brakes in traffic condition with extreme ease

Be Assured that Hyundai Creta has soft suspension which offers comfort oriented ride and adding on convenience of IMT makes car effortless in city usage. I suggest to test drive this car and be assured will love in experience.

Recommended in Creta Sx Option IVT
Hope should help !!

Dear Suresh ji,

6 Month waiting is pretty on higher note.
Semi conductor chip shortage is quiet much addressed and will almost be over in couple of months

Anyhow are you getting MG Astor even too as car sold off for 2021 as per company spokesperson and on most of the model variants waiting period is higher

Anyhow If you are considering MG Astor then do note that 1.5 Petrol Manual Transmission is not available for test drive in most of the locations - we really cant comment on performance, pickup but if its Automatic may check out MG Astor Super IVT Automatic as thats best suited for relaxed, comfort ride in city

Having said same - the biggest USP is pricing and mileage too in range of 12 to 13 Kmpl as reasonable expectation
But as product per se if you seek a car
> with superior dynamics
> with more reliability
> more comfort oriented seats
proven then Creta yet remains a top pick

Just a last thing - cars are bought for long term basis - important to shortlist one which is a better product for a superior experience

Hope should help !!

Hi sir,
One of close friend's relative is a Hyundai dealer.
He assumed me that he will arrange me a CRETA SX(O) DIESEL manual by Jan.2022 end.
Pl.suggest me, should I wait for the facelift model or take the present model.
Regards
Suresh

Hi Suresh ji,

Dont expect any facelift to be launched in Jan 2022
What Hyundai do is that they reshuffle in features every year in January.

Anyway Prices yes would be higher in Jan 2022, if horizon to hold car for more than 6 yrs then its immateria to buy 2021 or 2022 make as condition of car matters the most from resale perspective

Recommended to take delivery at 2021 prices (if hgoing to have this car for 7 yrs or longer period)

Hope should help !!
