Hello sir

Gaurav from ranchi.
Planning to buy mahindra xuv 300 w6 without sunroof. Dealer is charging 87k for rto but according to your rto calculator rto in ranchi is 46k. Price difference is 41k. So please suggest what to do and how to go forward. I am first time buyer.

Also is there any currently discount offer going for mahindra xuv 300 w6 in ranchi.

When do we finalize final amount I mean negotiation , discount, accessories during booking or during pre loan approval. ?

Greetings

Road Tax Slabs
Looks like Jharkhand government revised road tax slabs on Cars
Earlier the slabs were
> 6% For Cars Priced under 15 Lakh
> 9% for Cars above 15 Lakh
Calculated before GST and Price is Stockyard Price before GST

The same revised effective July 2021 as
> 7% for Cars under 7 Lakh
> 9% for Cars above 7 Lakh
Also, the basis for road tax calculation is changed. Now applied on exshowroom price of the car, which was earlier calculated on base price (i.e. before GST)

Due to same ruling changed - is thus the tax slabs difference and thus the amount difference.
Anyhow - the same been updated (you may have to clear cache to check on updated road tax slabs)

For Discount Offer
There is only
> Rs 25,000 exchange Bonus
> Rs 4500 Corporate Discount
which is going on

However, as what observed a consumer who push ahead basis negotiaton can save on
> Handling charges which are what imposed by dealer showroom
> Upto Rs 10K worth accessories on select models
> Save on by showing Online Insurance quote and either dealer shworoom will match same or consumer can buy same Online.

Hope should help !!

Hi.

See there are many insurance covers - depends on risk appetite of individual, but recommended one

1. Engine & Gear Box Protector Cover: A Car Engine is what like heart of Car and cost in several Lakhs. Engine Can get stalled if
> If driven with Engine Oil Leakage at accident or
> Engine Damaged due to Water Ingressed in
and same is not covered under standard Comprehensive and Zero Depreciation Plan unless an added Engine and Gearbox Protector cover taken.

Thus an added Engine and Gear Box Protector offers peace of Mind Ownership

2. Return to Invoice Cover: Been New Cars are relative higher prone to theft. Its an added Policy cover where IDV would be treated as Invoice Value of Car and thus if any unfortunate event of car been stolen - you will get entire invoice value of car including Road Tax, registration charges and 100% exshowroom price

3. Consumables Cover: This is an add on cover where Consumable items like Nuts, Bolts, Screen Washer, Engine Oil, Bearings need replacement due to road accident. Same is not covered under Zero Depreciation and Comprehensive Policy unless add on Consumable Cover is what taken for the Car. Cost quiet less can be considered.

Also, some Insurance companies offers Road Side Assistance complimentary - may check out same.
Above 3 are recommended add on covers over and above zero depreciation Insurance.

Hello sir

Sir me understand difference between car warranty and car insurance. Do we need to take both. Is car warranty already covered while buying new ? Should we need to extend warranty then insurance ??

Hello,

Car Warranty is a Service Contract between Manufacturer and Customer which includes repair or replacement due to fault in Mechanical Parts, Electrical System, Emissions or as any other part / equipment as agreed by manufacturer for replacement due to pre-mature fault

Car Insurance is a Risk Contract in between Insurance company and insured (i.e. Owner of vehicle) related to bearing cost for repair or replacement due to Accidents or cover for Theft of vehicle. It does not cover in any replacement due to technical fault as scope of coverage would be to risk related to accident / theft of vehicle

Hello Sir.

I am planning to buy a petrol SUV from West Bengal. Now here the Road tax I can pay @ 5.5% for either 5 years ( and after each 5 years there after) or 10% at once. Which route should I follow? I plan to keep the car for 10 years before moving on to an EV maybe in future when EV market grows and fossil fuel becomes inaccessible.

Hello sir.

We finally have decided to buy xuv 300 w8 instead of w6.

We like silver colour but heard from some people silver colour car loses lusture very fast and looks quite old after few years is it so ?

Second can i upgrade w8 painted alloy wheel with w8 O diamond cut alloy wheel and pay the difference amount 4k-5k during delivery. Is it possible.

Planning to take delivery on Oct 7-8 when navratra starts, so should I wait few days to get some festive offer or I can carry on slowly working my loan process ??

Is there change of price again price increase in coming few days. Or I should do all finance process as xuv 300 is in great demand we would not see any offer is festive season also.

Hi

Depends like if you are not strecthing your budget too much then W8 Option with
> Advanced Safety of ESP, 5 More Airbags
> More premium and white leatherette seat covers
> TPMS
> Auto Dimming IRVM

can make a difference
Else if you are too much stretched then XUV300 W8 should be what to look out for

Although color preference is individual but for a car like XUV - Bright Colors looks lot better as against Silver color
Rest is your discretion

For Price hike - cant really comment
But the way input cost in terms of rising commodity prices - price hike possibility which can not be ruled out

Hope should help !!

Thanks for above suggestions.

Sir I am really confused about insurance. Some people are saying take insurance through dealer as it helps in claiming insurance and works smooth as they have tie-up with them.

But problem is that my dealer has tie-up with icici lombard and the the review I am getting about them are worst 95% r saying don't take insurance from icici.
Other mahindra dealer has tie-up with tata-aig
So what should I do please suggest sir.

I am first time buyer.also please help me know how insurance renewal works. How frequent we have to take renewal ?? What will be the average renewal costs?
