I am planning to buy ford freestyle Titanium Plus diesel variant in the next couple of months. Will it be a good choice?

Hi Akshay,

Greetings !!

Ford Signature aspect in there car range is 1.5 TDCI Diesel Engine, which is
> Performance Oriented with car picks from as low as 1500 rpm with almost non-existent turbo lag
> Fuel Efficient, can expect in 15 Kmpl on city and 19 to 20 Kmpl+ on highway
> Surged Power

adding on to
> Impressive steering feedback
> Well Tuned Suspension
> Impressive Build with advanced safety of ESP

Freestyle Titanium Diesel as a car is a choice which is on radar of any car enthusiast. Simply love in the experience
Adding on raised ground clearance and balanced suspension can help in clearing on slight bad roads at ease.

Although yes
> Interior aesthetics feels like dated
> Instrument cluster looks like dated
> Gap between Pedals Brake and clutch is relative lesser
> Lacks Styling cues in exteriors. No Projectors
> No Android Auto for live navigation experience
> Rear seat legroom is strict average

But biggest issue as of now with Ford Diesel Engines is related to DPF vlogging whhere in many complaints are registered on social media stating DPF gets clogged in too early on Ford Diesel Engines. So much so that Ford stopped deliveries of car from June end to 3rd week of July with software update

Its important to have slight patience before booking diesel car by joining community of car buyers on Facebook or may interact in Community Groups of MyCarHelpline as on whatsapp to check if indeed other buyers as when bought in car facing such issues on new lot one.

Only when confirmed that issue is indeed resolved then only may proceed ahead for booking

Hope should help !!
