Dear Arunabh,

Greetings !!

Considering requirement of highway drive use - important to assess that

1. Safety: ESP, Traction Control Safety Features do assist on making a difference on emergency situation on highway

2. Performance: Well this Engine tuned for relaxed drive, but care for relative fun aspect on overtakes, highway drive with superior power delivery - Nexon Multi Mode comes in play to unleash in Sports mode for very best

3. Cabin Insulation: Well here Toyota Yaris leads with cabin feels better insulated and engine noise is relative lesser as against Nexon on higher speed. Somehow wind noise and engine noise is higher in Nexon to view

4. Handling: In terms of Steering, Suspension dynamics - Nexon although is good but Toyota Yaris is even better. Expect Stability due to lower ground clearance as better and in terms of cornering, handling character of car. Although Wider Tyres aids superior grip in Tata Nexon with R16 195/65 Tyres as against R15 185/65 Tyres as used in Yaris. But due to lower ground clearance as against Nexon - Yaris feels a notch better as against Nexon and when you move up the speed - can find Yaris shines even better with superior stability aspect.

5. Fuel Efficiency: Not much difference. Can expect around 15 to 16 KMpl while cruising at 80 to 90 KMph Speed

Important
if care to give utmost importance to
> Extra safety with ESP
> Performance

there Nexon shines

However, as you specific asked for comfort - well Toyota Yaris ride definite feels
> more plush
> more Silent
> Has better comfort for 4 member family
> Relatively bigger window glass gives more spacious feel
> Soothing Beige and Black Inteiors with better fit and finish factor
> Superior Handling character of car as against crossover due to lower ground clearance

However, kind note that Toyota Yaris future is bleak and basis low sales - somehow Yaris may just be axed in near future.
Having said same - its seen in past too that Toyota after sales and reliability is one among best and they continue to actively provide in spares for minimum 10 yrs. So - not much worries too even if due to a reason car is discontinued.

Hope should help in making a pick.

Hi,

As you are aware that Nexon is already proven
Yaris too is pretty well stocked in build quality. Although Indian Version was not crash tested but basis fact that
> Etios scored 4 star in Global NCAP earlier
> International version of Yaris scored 5 Star in Euro NCAP Rating

I presume Yaris to be as good as 4 star / 5 star experience and build quality can expected to be at par with the best in segment.

Hope should help !!
