Hi Chitra Sen ji,

Greetings !!

Considering maximum highway drive - its important to choose a car which offers
> ESP as essential safety element
> Very impressive steering, handling character of car
> Wider Tyres offering good grip
> Suspension is relative firm for stability at higher speed

Highway Grip
> Honda city 4th Gen : Out of context with just R15 175 tyres and steering dynamics feels average
> Honda Jazz : Again not the best for highway use with skinny tyres & Handling

> Hyundai Venue 1.2 S(Petrol): This engine although 4 cylinder is similar to as used in i20
But with higher weight wont call it ideal for highway dynamics.
Even lacks ESP as important safety

> S Cross : Although bigger engine and highway dynamics good basis stiffened suspension But - there are better cars where maximum drive is on highway.

To View
From Highway usage and basis
1) safety
2) body build
3) stability and handling on highway
4) low nvh

Although Ecosport is good, but there are questions on Ford Future and fact that Ford stiffer suspension do not offer comfort on poor build roads

Now - XUV300 W4 lacks ESP, lacks headrest on rear seat and somehow engine noise levels are relative higher as what felt in cabin
So - wont really recommend same

Nexon & Skoda Rapid
Nexon although a great choice and has ESP but again
> Engine noise levels are higher

However, car can perform relative better on bad roads

Skoda Rapid yes be a great all round choice basis
1) safety
2) body build
3) stability and handling on highway
4) low nvh

But somehow car cant perform as well on bad roads and lacks ESP for highway
My suggestion is to experience Skoda Rapid & Tata Nexon - and choose one basis drive experience
Suggest to first drive in Rapid on the given bad roads - that do you have any issue on such roads
If yes skip for Nexon and that can be a great pick except engine noise factor.

Yes Polo is a great alternative to Skoda Rapid provided
> Either Rear seats not to be much used
> Rear seat to be used by Kids, someone yound with average physique and height of 5'3"

If plan to have senior members in family - they wont be comfy on rear seat of Polo due to relative low base seats and limited legroom
Polo Comfortline TSI is a great value choice

For XUV300 W6 Petrol AMT - Well if you considering to increase budget all the way to 9.99 Lakh then yes
> Great choice for highway drive
> Will love in convenience
> This AMT unit is not jerky at higher speed
> Better In cabin space
> Suspension dynamics are farily well sorted
> ESP, 5 Star Build Quality

A great all rounder except noise perspective,
Somehow insulation levels are not the best.

Last - do note that both Polo and XUV300 comes with relative compact boot space, so plan accordingly for it.
