Sir,
Please suggest me to buy a car for learning and my daily office commute (Distance between my office and home is 20km).
I want to buy a car which has safety, easy to drive for a beginner, comfortable while seating since I had some injuries and a reasonable milage.
My budget is 6 to 7 lakh. But if you suggest a good car then I can go up to 9 lakh max.
My monthly income is 50k.
Also please suggest better option for me among manual or amt or cvt.
Thank you.

Hi Beenapani ji,

Greetings !!

Considering your first car from fact that
> Easy to drive car for beginner
> Primarily City Usage
> Local Distance travel within city
> A Medical Issue as referred

you should consider in AMT / Automatic Car which offers :-
> Freedom to relax in left foot
> No Manual Clutch pedal in car
> No need to change gear as car changes automatically basis speed
> Has Creep Mode in Bumper to bumper traffic where when brake released car moves on easily

In between AMT and CVT
AMT Cars do have some kind of slight jerk, or say pause effect while changing gears
CVT is very smooth. But with AMT Technology now good 7 year+ in Indian Market, same goes on with

Now - there are series of AMT and Automatic Car but with the fact that requirement is primarily local usage and budget as referred along with for ease of convenience should have a car which comes with
> Rear View Camera
> Light Steering which is easy to manoeuvre
> Very Reliable car for Hassle free driving

My Strong recommendation is to consider in Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Sportz AMT with strong USP

> Although AMT - but this car is offered with near best resposiveness in gear change due to Electric Actuator - you will find it almost as good as coventional Automatic Car.
> Pause effect while changing gears is not felt while driving in relaxed linear way
> Very Light Steering, a boon for day to day city use condition
> You get Convenience of Automatic Climate Control with Rear AC Vent, Power Fold ORVM, Height Adjustable Driver Seat
> Also get Convenience of Touchscreen having live navigation with Android Auto and Rear View camera to easy reverse in
> Takes on Wonder Warranty Scheme of 5 Year / 40,000 Kms without any extra cost
> Seats are fair comfortable for average physique individual.

Do note that although car scored 2 star in Global NCAP, but that crash test done on 64 KMph and head on
While this car is treated road worthy when crashed at 56 Kmph in Indian Road conditions. Also,
> Safety features of ABS, EBD, Dual Airbags, Sealt Belt Pretensioners are there
> Driver skill and speed is of utmost importance in providing safety

If you are driving at speed of 60 Kmph and apply brake and applied brakes the car speed can be reduced to less than 40 Kmph in a second.
Be assured that this car is a perfect choice in
> Cost of Ownership
> Reliability
> Convenience factor

and basis need as specified of local usage drive - am sure will cherish in experience
Suggest to test drive and explore it out.

Hello Gagan Sir,

I am looking for a car with same budget 6-7 Lakhs but there is slight change in the requirements.

1) I am not a beginner but a smooth driver.

2) My Runnings of the car -

Once in month from Pune to my hometown - Total Distance is 600 Kms (Pune - Home 300 and return)

Maximum running in the Pune City will be 300-400 Kms (I prefer my bike to go to office due to parking issues).

I have Grand i10 Nios Magna Variant Manual Petrol in mind for me.

Please let me know if you have any other suggestions in this budget.

Any view on Swift LXI ?

But, Can not compromise on Wheel Convers / ABS / EBD / Airbags

Can Compromise on Touch Screen and other Fancy Show Off Items
