Hello,
I am writing this email to get your advice on a matter which is not clear to me.
I booked a Creta E variant diesel on 26th Sep'20 via Hyundai's click to buy online portal. I choose the dealer as per my convenience from the list available on the portal.
In the beginning I had a discussion with respect to Insurance and raised the concern with the customer care to which the dealership agreed verbally that I can buy the insurance myself.
The delivery date was given as 17th Feb'21, as I wanted to have a 2021 model.
I insisted for an early delivery in the month of Jan. The dealership asked to pay the amount in Jan first week so that they can allot the vehicle to me in the first batch.
Loan for 7.41L was approved and the same has been disbursed to the dealership in Dec last week, along with 1.95L as part payment of Down payment.
Yesterday I received a call from the sales representative wrt allotment of the vehicle, and asked me to deposit the remainder payment.
Also they asked me to buy certain accessories as the same will allow them to deliver the vehicle on priority basis. I am aware about these tactics and stalled the conversation for later.
The first EMI is scheduled for 5th Feb'21.
I am willing to make the remainder deposit excluding the Insurance and accessories amount.
How do I convince them to deliver the vehicle this month before 1st EMI gets deducted? Can the dealership allot me a damaged vehicle if I purchase the insurance from outside?
