Greetings !!

See there are considerable differences in between Hector and Creta
To assist on

> Mileage: Realistic Mileage is in range of 8 Kmpl to 9 Kmpl in city drive use and reason for same is almost 1.6 Tonne body weight, Fuel efficiency bound to be lower in such heavier petrol cars. Despite of hybrid - thats a realistic fuel efficiency in MG Hector, however for highway depending on average speed - anything around 12 to 13 Kmpl can be considered better

Creta would be relative better as almost 20%+ lesser weight

> Performance & Handling: Pickup and Performance will rate it good, but Creta DCT is lot more fun in superior pickup and is quicker too, while Creta IVT is ideal for relaxed drive.

Although suspension is on soft side on both cars, But if seek comfort oriented plush ride - to view Creta offers more Plush ride and somehow the ride, handling dynamics of Creta for anyone who seek comfort would be better. Kind note that Hector high speed dynamics have slight body roll associated to it, Creta too comes with body roll but overall from ride, handling. In terms of Steering feedback - will rate MG Hector marginally better over Creta as gain slight more weight in steering

But if you ask me from overall Performance, Handling and Comfort aspect - Creta definite has an edge and leads here and even has Paddle shifter

> Space - Although Creta is good and improved in space, but Hector comes with lot of space to give feel of spacious full size SUV (however limited width makes it best for 4 adults and 1 Kid). But yes the way space is there - makes it better

> Resale - Its too early to comment on Hector resale as MG as brand is just 1.5 year old and Hector doing good in sale. resale will be build on long term basis on how well MG Cars perform and how well is the network extended. Howeever - there is no second doubt that Hyundai as a brand is more trusted in terms of large after sales service network and Creta is what carrying high demand with high resale and ready buyers in used car market

> Features - Both Cars are well stocked in features list and yes feel rich in features with aspiration, styling, safety and loaded with all modern age one. But - if i tell you MG ISmart although good but i prefer Hyundai Touchscreen response as more fluid one.

Overall - Hector has an edge in terms of
> Space Front
> Bigger Car Feel
> Possibly slight better steering feedback on higher speed

But Hyundai Creta to view leads in overall Performance, overall handling (except Hector marginally having edge on high speed steering feedback), Mileage, Brand Service network, Proven Resale and is something which to view is a great choice.

So to view - Creta as a product offers better buy. In terms of Creta IVT and DCT
> If maximum usage within city - pick IVT
> If seek Fun ride with mix of city and highway - pick DCT

Hope should help !!

Hi - Could you please help me to choose from SXO IVT or SX DCT, I am from Bangalore, few weekend trips outside of Bangalore. How would be mileage for both these transmissions, and reliability between these two transmissions. Could you please help

IVT will be a better option for bangalore traffic and considering you will be having only few highway trips.

Go for DCT only if you need some sporty feel but you need to adjust your driving skills while driving within city especially bumper to bumper traffic.
