Greetings !!

Considering
> Average running of 12,000 to 15,000 Kms
> Seating Space for 4 Adults and 1 Kid
> SUV with Fun to drive

in all maximum budget of 8.5 Lakh

well choices are slight limited, are you flexible to increase budget to Rs 9 Lakh to 9.25 Lakh
If yes - can have
> Mahindra XUV300 W4 Petrol Base Model - With 200 NM Torque can enjoy fun along with long wheelbase and 5 star safety
> Ford Freestyle Trend Diesel - as this is real fun and lower running cost

I can share more details about above cars if seek to exceed budget

However, care to restrict budget to 8.5 Lakh On road then in same price is what Maruti Vitata Brezza Lxi a preferred pick and recommended over Tata Nexon XE Model

Brezza Lxi Plus Points over Nexon XE
https://www.mycarhelpline.com/images/easyblog_articles/1071/b2ap3_thumbnail_Brezza-Lxi.jpg
> 1.5 Litre Petrol Engine has enough low end and picks cleanily. For anyone looking for a descent amount of pickup in day to day city usage would be impressed with brezza Petrol Engine - Nexon petrol has a definite turbo lag and is fun only in Sports Mode but at the cost of fuel efficiency which can make a lot of difference

> Suspension is relative tuned for comfort and not as stiff as in Nexon - will appreciate in city ride dynamics. Engine NVH are better. Even A Pillar is not as intrusive as in Nexon, Visibility is better in Vitara Brezza

> After sales service has 1 year / 10,000 Kms service interval as against 6 Month / 7500 Kms in Nexon (Oil change however done at 15,000 Kms). Last but important factor as reliability across brands - Maruti Suzuki scores a notch above

Yes - Brezza may not enter in league of fun to drive or enthusiast car, but considering fact that your daily drive to be within city usage will be happy with enough Engine Power and drive handling aspect. Even Vitara Brezza Lxi equipped with good features having all standard
> ABS, Airbags, reverse park sensor
> AC with Heater, Electric Power Steering with Tilt, All 4 Door Power Window with One Touch Auto Down at Driver Side, Remote Central Lock, Electric Adjustable ORVM
> Dual Projector Headlight, LED Tail Light, Chrome Finish in Front Grille, Skid Plate, Body Colored ORVM & Door Handle
> Integrated FM Music System with Bluetooth Connectivity

Can go for enhancement of Wheel Cover.

Downside of Vitara Brezza as against Nexon
https://www.mycarhelpline.com/images/Nexon-XE-Side.jpg
> Lacks advanced safety of ESP, Traction Control
> Although good build and scored 4 star safety rating but Nexon scored 5 star
> Not a peppy mid range on highway as what otherwise observed in Nexon Turbo
> As features lacks - adjustable head restraint or headrest missing but a solution posted for Brezza Lxi Head rest

Overall - basis price point as referred - Vitara Brezza Lxi is what recommended pick
Hope should help !!

Hello,

Kia Sonet HTE Petrol is comfortable in budget @ 7.75 Lakh and HTK Petrol will almost cost Rs 1 Lakh higher
But point is that Kia Sonet HTE and HTK available in 1.2 Litre Engine with just 83 PS Power and 115 NM Torque
The same engine is what used in Elite I20 Petrol even, Grand i10 Nios.

Although performance is satisfactory in Nios, but Been I20 Petrol is relative heavier car - engine performance is linear and can be said just okay for a relaxed in city drive. No way performance oriented or peppy. However, when same engine been used in even heavier Sonet and Venue with wider tyres - it bound to be relative under-performer and will turn out good for those who just seek
> A Car which has raised ground clearance
> A Car with Good Build
> Seek a car where can be relative light foot on accelerator response.

However, in drive performance in no way will be good call from SUV perspective. Where competition in segment is offering in
> 1.2 Litre Turbo Charged Petrol Engine with 120 PS Power in Nexon and 175 NM Torque
> 1.5 Litre Naturally aspirated bigger engine with 104.7 PS Power and 138 NM Torque

it slight goes out of context to put money on 1.2 Litre engine without any turbo with just 83 PS Power and 115 NM Torque which will just be quiet an average performance as can be expected.

Hence, recommended to skip Sonet and Venue if considering in 1.2 Litre Engine - they are class apart in 1.0 GDI but 1.2 Engine ? Not recommended from our side.

Hope should help !!
