Confused as looking for spacious 5 seater family SUV in around 9 Lakh price, where 4 lakh would be downpayment and 5 lakh would be loan. Also. which is more safer, reliable, spacious and better car with better ride, handling and feature wise aspect

Greetings !!

Honda WRV
See the biggest downpoint is 1.2 Litre Engine
Had Honda given 1.5 Litre IVtec Engine - this could be just game changer, somehow 1.2 Litre Engine is best for relaxed drive only and primarily for city usage. Low end performance is satisfactory, but once you enter in mid zone then performance feels very average

> Suspension is a strong point. The way car takes over urban bad roads is commendable. However, not to mistake it as off roader
> Good Impressive Features, you can be impressed - Alloys, Touchscreen with Android Auto & Apple Car Play, Rear AC Vent, Multi Mode Rear View Camera as add on over Brezza as feature list
> Seats are very comfortable in front. However, to disclaim - lacks adjustable head restraints on rear seat. For Taller passenger on rear they may not be very comfy

Maruti Brezza
Feels relative more lively in pickup and response in 1.5 Litre Petrol Engine
However, to disclaim - its not a very quick car on stand-alone basis but definite feels better against WRV in higher capacity engine with higher power, torque. Been engine is like heart of car - its a major difference

Brezza too
> Gets Impressive suspension
> Here it carries features as Push Ignition, Projectors, Power Fold ORVM as differentiation
> Rear Seats are not as reclined as what gets in WRV, they are slight upright but yes comes with adjustable head restraints on rear seat for comfort for taller passenger neck

Overall in between Brezza and Honda WRV

Safety Aspect
Basis safety aspect - well Maruti Vitara Brezza is proven in Global NCAP as 4 star safety rated
Honda WRV - Indian based Jazz (as hatch version of WRV) is not tested, but International Version was tested in Euro NCAP got 4 star, but in Australian NCAP got 5 Star with higher safety features, but Indian based version is not tested

However, Amaze got 4 star. Been jazz feel more sturdier against Amaze will rate WRV and Brezza at par

Both products are equally reliable

Honda USP is spacios cabin. The kind of space which Honda WRV has is what the benchmark in segment
Rear Seat are better reclined
But despite of space - its odd that WRV lacks adjustable head restraints on rear seat.
So you have to see if you have average height people - then basis recline angle of rear seat and throw of rear AC vent air on face - WRV can be more comfortable and spacious for family

Ride Quality, Handling
Ride Quality is good in both cars. Suspension dynamics are impressive
But Brezza due to relative more power, bigger engine feels relative slight more impressive in mid range against WRV
Steering feedback is just okay in both the cars, wont rate to the best as set by Ecosport, Nexon.

Features Wise
To view WRV SMT feels better enriched with modern age features

> Honda WRV : Better comfort for rear seat passenger if height is under 5'8", higher up features, best for in city drive and for relaxed drive
> Maruti Brezza : More Powerful, Adjustable head restrainst on rear seat for taller passenger

Note: In terms of
> Fuel Efficiency
> Scheduled Maintenance Cost
not much of a difference in both the car

Hope should help !!
