Dear Sir,

I bought a pre-owned 2011 Honda City V Ivtec in Mar 2016. I was very new to saloon category and hence did not notice suspension hardness. Since then I find the car suspension very hard and feel every pot hole and the dhad dhad noise annoys me. I changed the suspension system 2 times now but no luck. Finally I am planning to change the Tyre to see of this will help. Any suggestions on this please? Or any recommendation on what tyres can give me a smooth ride?

Hello,

What exactly was changed in Suspension twice ?
Shockers ? Jumping Rod Bush ? Lower Arm ? Link Rod

See City yes has slight stiff suspension but not that which will make it so difficult
I suggest to reduce tyre pressure by 2 to 3 Psi to see and experience difference, else may go with soft tyres
> Michelin XM2 - very plush
> If tyre profile is R15 175/65, then consider increasing in sidewall aspect ratio to R15 195/60 - this will increase Sidewall aspect ratio by 3% and overall size difference is also within acceptable deviation. May check deviation in - Tyre Size Calculator

Keep checking tyre pressure and may reduce by 2 psi to experience the difference
However, do note that XM2 is slight on expensive side and may cost in almost rs 24K for replacement of 4 tyres

Hope should help !!
