I booked Tata Tiago XZA+ Petrol from Arya Tata. They charged logistics handling charges of rupees 6500 which I told them is illegal and should be removed. They told me that this is charged by Tata and they cannot remove.

I then raised the complaint at Tata Motors where they asked Dealer to clarify. On further discussion over mail they told me that the charges are as below:-

Fuel expenses for bringing the vehicles from stockyard to the location for delivery purpose ·
Fuel expenses for taking the vehicle to Register authority for registration purpose (if required) · Driver cost towards bringing the vehicle to the concerned location and to RTO · Fuel provided during delivery of the car · Re-polishing, cleaning, checking of vehicle · Delivery ceremony · Other expenses incurred towards making the car ready for delivery.

I then told them that these prices are not to be charged from the customer and it comes to dealers scope and asked them to give Price bifurcation. They denied to provide the prices and told me that these prices are intangible and the round off amount is provided and hence they closed the case.

I have even registered the case to Consumer Forum which was disposed stating that the dealer has provided the information with a closure letter, which is not true.

I seek your help with the case.
