Reduction in tyre side wall/aspect ratio works opposite to soft suspension (help in making suspension stiff) or not?
As changing tyre to 195 55 R15 will do this (oem 175 65 R14) - recommended or not?
As i want to make my honda amaze 2016 model suspension stiff so that i can drive over potholes at a faster pace.

Nop Suspension dont get changed like that but yes Ride Quality can definitely be changed

As referred in Car Tyre CalculatorThe Proposed Tyre R15 195/55 is definite aggressive against R14 175/65 and this will definite make
> Ride More Firm as sidewall reducing
> With Width Increasing by more than 10% will improve high speed tyre grip
> Increase in Ground clearance by 6.5 mm too

Overall this upsize will definite improve ride, handling to be more firm but will come
> At cost of Fuel Efficiency
> Also, as suspension been soft and if go with fully loaded on bad roads / potholes and fact that tyre height is increasing - chances of tyre scraping sidewall can be there due to same. So best to avoid car either fully loaded or avoid potholes or drive very very slow on such roads

Net all if sole purpose is to drive over potholes at a faster pace then you will be disappointed due to same, as in that case this size may not serve purpose as Amaze suspension is soft and that cant be altered with

Hope should help !!
