Sir have purchased a k10 2011 model 55k run up14 no. in 1.43 lakh (including all transfer charges to up15 my city) from a dealer who says that he buys vehicle from auctions.

Concern is : vehicle is purchased during holi he has given me color copy of rc & insurance only

#original doc are required to get noc from gaziabad rto as said by him
#owner of the vehicle is a lady who is now married in haryana.
#Dealer said that the lady will come to rto when she is available & noc will be issued to her only.

As of now there is no update due to lockdown
I have called the dealer & he is saying that all will be known after it end. and it is her will when she will be in gaziabad for the process.

In all this I'm am very much concern as there will be no transfer ... Does I need to worry in it I'm on a safer side or not .... Is there are chance of me getting cheated after all this

Pls help me sir how deal with all this...

Hello,

I dont think that its an Auction case, as Auction is generally done in case of
> Bank repossessed cars
> Auction by Organisations having car registered in there name

Anyhow in Deal - The first mistake was to take Car on Photocoped RC, Insurance
If not NOC, At time of making final payment - you should have demanded in Original RC, Insurance along with signed Transfer forms in original for issuing in NOC. RTO needs signed Transfer forms along with copy of ID & Address proof for issuing in NOC

Even NOC can be applied online by filling form in Parivahan and then submitting in RTO (refer attached)
Now, once lockdown opens - Suggest to ask Dealer for Original RC and followup for NOC Issuance by
> Step 1- submitting Online form through Parivahan and
> Step 2 - taking printout and submitted form ans signing same
> Step 3 - submitting in copies, ID & Address proof in local RTO.

There is no need for any physical presence of original owner unless the signatures not matching

Hope should help !!

Hello, In 2011, I bought a used Maruti A star from Maruti true value (karnal motors). At the time of purchase, showroom gave me a NOC document in my name which was issued by Registration Authority Karnal. Recently when I checked my car number on mParivahan website, I found the car is still registered in the name of Maruti Suzuki Gurgaon. Need suggestions on what should I do now, as I am planning to sell this car.
