My amaze with 175 65 R14 OEM tyres and i want to upgrade as whenever it goes over potholes it looses grip and also touches roads due to its softer suspension.
185 55 R15 with deviation of 0.35% or 185 50 R16 with deviation of 1.39% will be better?
I want to increase GC and also make car stable on bumps as it jumps alot whenever a small pothole come on road during high speed and also do not want to harm suspension setup.
Please help.

R16 185/50 is a odd tyre size and also reducing tyre aspect ratio to 50% is not the best especially when you talk of potholes in consideration
I can suggest tyre by retaining existing 14 Inch wheel can go for R14 185/65, with disclaimer that Mileage can go down by 10% to 15% but with lot many benefits

You can compute Impact of this Upsize in Section of - Tyre Calculator

As the Tyre gaining
> Height
> Width
> Sidewall also gaining
> Increase in Ground clearance to 6.5 mm

This can be the best upsize for requirements mentioned albeit with an impact on fuel efficiency levels
Hope should help !!
