I am almost about to book Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Sportz Petrol, but only concern is about Build Quality and NCAP Crash Test Rating. Is it a Safe car as am going to spend rs 7 lakh which is my 5 year savings.

I appreciate your concern on safety and hard earned money been put to buy car
But, pls note that
> Hyundai Grand i10 Nios NCAP Safety Crash test not been performed
> Car comes with ABS, EBD, Dual Airbag, Projector Fog Lights, Rear Defogger,Seat Belt Reminder,High Speed Alert System, Day & Night Rear View Mirror, Speed Sensing Door Lock, Impact Sensing Door Unlock as key safety Features
> Hyundai improved braking experience of car range in last 15 months and expect Grand i10 Nios brakes to be reasonably good
> Good Handling of car within city
> Car is crash test and well meet in upcoming safety norms which makes 56 Kmph Speed test

However, if you go by Global Standards then do note that
> Santro got 2 star in NCAP
> Elite I20 African version got 3 star in Global NCAP (similar to Indian I20)
> Venue got 4 star in NCAP

I wont put Grand i10 Nios to be ahead of I20, if you seek better safety may rather check out Venue 1.2 E Petrol but you will miss on features and has relative lesser rear seat comfort so that needs to be taken in consideration

Hope should help !!
