Resolved Ford Figo Doors are Locked and not opening though Remote and Manual Key

Is the issue solved, as replying on Sunday and you asked query on Friday
If not then yes seems very weird one that
> Suddenly the car engine failed to start and
> Even doors not opening by Manual Key.

This happens only in scenario if key is damaged. Did you faced this issue earlier also,
Can you check with alternate key as available with you ?

If still not working then only way is to call Road side assistance which claims to be provided nation wide and get car inspected on whether it needs to be towed to workshop or if any local trusted mechanic can assist on it

Mine happened the same today.
Whats the solution. It's locked down situation now.

I am in the same boat too. The car was not used for over a month. I tried to start the engine today but my keys are not working and I am unable to unlock the doors.

I also changed the battery of the keys but still no luck.

I too had the same prob once, Its because car Driver door key insert is damaged & its not recognizing your car key. Till now you were unaware because you would have used your remote for unlocking & locking the car and now your car battery is also down, since there is only one key insert in ford figo, you are stuck. You have to open bonnet from below the car & remove car's battery and recharge it or you can use jumper cable & connect with someother car's battery & press unlock button in the remote at same time....Your car door will open & You can start the car using jumper cable now & keep it idle for 10 - 15 mins & take the car to garage.

Same problem. Also i clearly see the key indicator blinking near the speedometer. Changed the key batteries still unable to unlock!

I too faced same problem after I left the car unused for more than 1 month. Was unable to open with wireless key but maually it got opend. The reason was my battery was completely dead and had to charge it fully again. After that it is now working fine.

Any solution for this issue? I am in the same boat. Thank you.

I also faced same issue. Somehow I managed to open the driver door inserting wire and using inflator bag in order to make space between door and fender to insert the wire. Later I inserted wire and manged to reach the door opening lach from inside and opened the door.
But now I am not able to lock My car because remote is not working and manual slot is also jammed and key is not moving too and fro.
My battery is ok and even remote battery is new. Later I tried to program my remote key by moving the key in keyslot 4 times to ignition point as mentioned in maual. But still remote is not working

Faced similar problem on 27-08-2020. Door could not be opened by manual key as well as remote key, despite repeated attempts. One gentleman from FORD service centre suggested to insert the key and rotate few times while simultaneously pressing the door inward at the location of keyhole- lock location. I did the same. Thankfully, it worked. Since then the door lock is working normal by both manual as well as remote key.

Further, just to mention, i was also advised to try to lift the door will simultaneously rotating the key. However, this was not required for me.

Above helped me. Hope it works for others also in case of such difficulty.

If any of you still facing this issue then try this
Dip your car key in Mobil oil if you have or else you can try mustard oil too
then insert your car key in keyhole and rotate left-right for about 20times
if not succussed then repeat the process (including dipping your key in oil)
I tried 3-4 times and worked
