I own a MS Baleno Zeta(P). I bought it in December 2018. Ever since my vehicle went in for 1st service, I was facing a recurring issue of some noise from brakes. Apart from free services 1st and 2nd, my vehicle's defective parts have been replaced 6 times under running repair which caused me a lot of emotional harrassment.

It was my first time purchase and the experience wasn't very good neither with the dealer nor the manufacturer related to these issues. Now that it seems that the issue is finally resolved, I have exhausted One year warranty for no fault of mine and was given 2 year warranty at the time of purchase, I would therefore like to know should I ask the company to at least extend my car warranty for one year under their expense or should I leave it as it is?

If the answer yes for the former, please do advice me how to go about it the right way. Please help.

Theres a saying 'Strike while the Iron is Hot'

At the time when you were facing the issues multiple times - you could have pushed the manufacture by
> Questioning there quality
> State in Inconvenience of multiple visits
> Asking for extension of warranty on goodwill basis

Been the given issue is resolved, now asking for extension of warranty may not be accepted.
Its highly recommended to opt for extended warranty not for 3rd year but even for 4th and 5th year. Been your car is just completed the 1st year, if you witness further issue in 2nd year of vehicle ownership can push in OEM to extend warranty on goodwill basis

Else if no issues happens then can buy in extended warranty which can be purchased anytime, till car
> not complete 2 years
> not driven beyond 40,000 Kms

Hi Admin,

This is in response to your reply. I had asked the manufacturer for extending my warranty numerous times but they kept making excuses stating that it is not possible. I told them to extend it as I was finding it very inconvenient making multiple visits to the workshop and my issue was not getting resolved.
