Sir, I recently bought a Figo form a dealer Chand(New Bongaigaon) who didn't have bodywork shop, (I can to know after a small accident) when contacted them about the repair cost they informed me that they just sell cars all the bodywork is done at (Guwahati). Is it legal for a dealer to open showroom without bodywork shop?
I handed them the car on 25th September still repair is not done(insurance survey complete).
Need to change my front bumper, right side fender, and right headlamp.
Sir Kindly advise can we take some strict action against such dealer.

Well its possible

OEM to expand sales presence ask existing channels to open showroom in small cities but workshops are still not opened in
Not only Ford - but the same concept been seen with other OEM too - may be Maruti Suzuki can be an exception or they may have independent MASS (Maruti Authorized service ) in the location

However, if you feel there is a delay may connect with Ford customer care and appraise them that the basic parts even - Bumper, Fender, Headlight are not been replaced in car for over 2 weeks. Ford customer care team is responsive and will forward your concern to Ford service team for a check on it
