First of all thank for all your great work, support and fabulous website. My query is that with current offers diesel cars seems attractive but confusion mounting to very high. Plan to buy Brezza or Scross. But news that BS6 diesel fuel may cause injectors problems in BS4 diesel engine. Does current offers make sense or better not risk and wait for upgrade to petrol models expected in coming months. Please advise.

Hello,

Certainly yes can buy

To Explain a bit - its a fact that biggest different in BS6 and BS4 Fuel are Sulfur Levels which are been reduced by 80% in BS6 Fuel as against BS4 Fuel and bottomline fact is that Sulfur acts as lubrication - the reduced Sulfur level can impact injector on stand alone basis

But - as per available information as obtained through TransportPolicy.net the final Lubrication properties of fuel will remain same and this is what the catch is, refer details

So as there wont be any impact on lubrication, thus wont impact injectors and this is the reason that Maruti Suzuki offering 5 year warranty on car
Hope should help !!
