Hello,

Problem cause can be CNG Kit faulty installation or other mechanical reasons with the car too
How long does it take to overheat
- On starting the car and very soon does it gets overheated
- On switching on the AC
- On a long drive and heat increases gradually.

Some Common reasons for point 1 & 2
- Low Coolant Fluid Level
- Radiator Issues, may be the radiator has gone too much dirt on it - as its function of radiator to cool down the car - is the servicing of the car happening periodically ?
- Is cooling fan getting blocked - one can check this by opening the bonet and switch on the ignition

or could be some other issue too, suggest to get car checked at workshop and avoid driving it.

For Point 3
- Well CNG yes leads to some kind of more heating, but eventually should remain under some limits so as to get cooled off by engine
Yes - get the CNG Installation check - as excess overheat - if done may even lead to car catching fire too

Hope it helps !!!

Pls do not fit cng kits to ur petrol cars.... The temperature of the engine shoots up like hell & u will start having radiator.. Coolant... Fan problems but even after rectifying them the temperature won't come down.... This sequential kit technology is not pakka.... Your engine goes dry & gets heated.. The engine will not have much moisture which was earlier present while driving on petrol...i lost my omni due to this problem.... Pls don't install cng kits... Or if u want to save fuel costs go for an EV...
