I am considering buying a used car. This will be my first car ever. My budget is 4 lakhs. I am getting a Renault Pulse RxL ABS 2016 diesel model for that price, It is 60k kms driven. The car is in good condition, and from what I've read from reviews the diesel engine used in this car is also a good one. My only concern was that the car is discontinued. Will acquiring spares for this car be a big problem in the future? Do you recommend this purchase? If not, which car should I aim for in my budget?
Thanks a lot.

Renault Pulse was discontinued in 2 years back
Generally a manufacturer support spare parts for 7 years atleast of a discontinued model
However, its seen in general that when a model is discontinued spare part cost is generally increased

But been
> Renault do not sell spare in after-market
> If you somehow plan to get car serviced from after-market then availability of spares would definite be an issue

Last - 4 Lakh still looks pricey for this car.
As the car been driven 60,000 Kms - tyres would be close end of life and battery may also be requiring replacement

Nothing beyond Rs 3.5 Lakh for this car. Been the model discontinued - can negotiate well
Hope should help !!
