Hello Sir,

I am planning to buy my first car with a budget of around of 8 lakhs and short listed Petrol Swift/Figo/grandi10. My Primary usage will be in city and occasionally i will be using it for weekend drives.
Right now Hyundai dealer is offering over 1 lakh discount in Bangalore as there is new model launching soon.

Could you please advise me if it is a good decision to buy grand i10 with discounts or wait for new model?
What are the implications if i buy soon to be discontinued model?

Hello,

As the budget is on your side, some of the key changes in Grand i10
> Its a new generation model - New Generation means improvement in chassis platform, suspension, space, specifications, safety, styling and features upgrade too
> Been the fact remains cars are bought for long term perspective the experience of owning an updated car is superior ownership experience

Can expect 2nd Gen Grand i10 to be likely introduced with BS6 Compliant Engine too . More on Grand i10 2nd Generation

Can say that although offer scheme looks attractive to go with 1.1 Lakh discount but trust the new gen model comes with host of changes. Rather can also check out Hyundai Elite I20 Sportz Plus trim by extending budget by 50K On road for even a superior product against Grand i10

Hope should help !!
