My car Toyota Yaris 6 months old clutch got damaged at 2273 kms only..and company has given estimate of 38000.They said flywheel is also damaged and nd pressure plate also..how can such thing happen in new car

Hardly 100-200 Yaris selling every month. Honda city, Verna yafir ciaz hi le lete.

Hello,

Although clutch plate assembly is not covered under warranty
But there is a rare chance of part failing with 6 months unless one drives the car too bad.

Suggest to write back to Toyota
> about your trust shown in Toyota brand
> about previous cars owned
> about brand image of Toyota known for low maintenance car
> about the way you drive car correctly by not putting left foot on clutch pedal

Ask them to cover this under goodwill gesture, am sure by writing a correct mail - you can possibly get in 50% waiver or even 100% covered

Sir thanks for reply.
I have mailed to them but still they have not replied and when I talk to customer care they say please wait for 24 hrs we will get back to you shortly
