Hi,

I am planning to sell my registration year Jan 2013 Honda Brio SMT variant and it is 2012 MY model. The odometer has clocked 41000 kms. The car is is in excellent condition and all services being done in Honda showroom and I have all records. I am the first owner of car. It is TN registration and I am currently living in Bangalore. I would like to know at what price can I sell my car either in TN or Bangalore. I can see a huge difference in used car Valuation in from Cardekho and Carwale. I need to know the genuine price to sell this car. Also if I am selling to an individual, I need to know how safe I can sell and how to ensure the RC transfer is happening (please guide on what documents I should take from buyer).

Thank you.

Hello,

Considering in 6.5 year old car, as referred that Car is in excellent condition means
> No Accidents
> Car serviced on time and service history documented
> No Technical issues
> Neat and well maintained car for sale

Now been 6.5 year and around 41,000 kms are the tyres been replaced in. If not then this will be factored in valuation price been tyres are not meant to be continued in beyond 7 year in any case.

In terms of valuation been the model variant is Brio SMT and Tamil nadu registered one and the fact that Brio is discontinued by Honda Cars India - the valuation price would be Rs 2.5 Lakh in Tamil Nadu at best for an excellent maintained car after discounting the tyres replacement and the fact that car is discontinued

However, if the car sold in Bangalore (as inter-state sale, been the car registered in Tamil nadu) - expect the value to be fetched in at around rs 2 Lakh at best

For documents, pl refer - RC Transfer Process

Hope should help !!
