Hi,

I am confused between petrol manual variant of Baleno Delta vs Amaze S, as both of them or coming in similar price range.

Baleno is BS VI, while Amaze is BS IV.
Will it affect resale value?
Is Amaze low on city milage?
Is Baleno low on built quality?
Ride, handling, safety?

Pls end my confusion with your pick n rational or any other suitable alternate in same category.

Thanks,
Ashutosh

Hello,

Pl find below point wise reply

1. No Impact on resale value in immediate term till 2025 as cars available in second hand market would mostly be BS4, further dynamics and Government policies of intervention if any can only be judged then in

2. Anything around 13 Kmpl should be a reasonable expectation from Amaze in city drive condition

3. Baleno is light weight car, but not unsafe. However, having said same - not to be confused as safest too
Amaze proved itself with 4 star rating, Maruti heartect chassis platform based cars Swift got 2 star, Ignis got 3 star (expect Baleno to be 2 star or 3 star). We have better sturdy cars with higher up safety features and certainly if safety and sturdiness goes in sync - Jazz and Polo would be a better pick in Hatchback segment over Baleno.

The best way for Baleno is to drive in controlled speed limits
Suggest to check on this video explaining on Maruti Suzuki cars safety

4. Amaze feels good to go for in city drive, while Baleno has superior high speed dynamics due to stiif suspension, wider tyres. But - driving at speed of 100 Kmph+ is not recommended on either

Hope should help !!
