Hi,
I am planning to buy a honda city V cvt model.
I am apprehensive about the maintenance of the vehicle as I heard that this has to be done every 6 months or 10000 whichever is is earlier and on each service one has to shell out approx 10000 bucks that means
Annually it would cost me 20000 bucks
So need assistance/guidance/info in this regard.
Thanks &Regards
Sanjay

Hello,

Yes the service schedule of Honda City is 6 months or 10,000 Kms which ever earlier but relax the service cost are not that high
Reason
> Coolant : Needs to be replaced only once in 10 Years
> Spark Plug : 1 Lakh Kms or 5 years
> Fuel Filter : 80,000 Kms or 4 years
> Brake Fluid : Only once in 3 years
> Gear Transmission Fluid : Once every 3 years
> Air Filter : Once in 30,000 Kms for replacement

Refer - Honda City Service Cost

For Engine Oil you can well go with Idemitsu Engine Oil (inhouse from Honda) which is a mineral Oil and replacement of Oil & Filter with washer drain plug cost in rs 1500

The yearly service cost wont be more than rs 10,000 in paid service, even after considering bi-annual service interval
Hope should help !!
