Hi, i have a confusion regarding my purchase for a used luxury compact SUV.

I have a BMW GT, thus not looking to get another bmw badge, thus choice is between Audi Q3 and Range Rover Evoque.

I am getting Audi Q3 Premium plus model - (2015 December) for 21 lacs with extended warranty till 2020 while Range Rover Evoque from 2013 has offer of 22 lacs.

Is it a good idea to buy a Range Rover which is from 2013 being a diesel in 2019 for 22 lacs ??

Frankly, Evoque has been my dream car for years but here, Audi Q3 has many offers for even 2016 which can be bought under 22 lacs, thus i know well that Q3 would be a more reliable purchase.

So its a question of my heart against head choice. But i would like an expert advice if possible to help me out to make the right choice in this case.

Hello Sumit,

There is no second thought on fact that RR Evoque is what a
> More Premium
> Better Dynamics
> Dream product for
most of the buyers and holds a much superior positioning over Q3/X1

But - what is equally important to know it about Service Component
A Car which is out of warranty, out of service package along with fact that service has a question to it needs a lot more to inspect
Point is if its RR Evoque then the most important part is
> A Thorough professional inspection of car
> A Thorough Assessment of service condition
> Checking Wear and Tear - Suspension, Brakes, AC, Clutch, Bearing, any noise etc in detail
> Also been the car 6 year old - are Tyre been replaced - if not then Tyres would call for replacement

Else in case of an issue - can well go with Q3 Quattro
The 4x4 Experience makes it good to go as sensible choice considering warranty is intact

Last - the asking price of RR Evoque for a 6 year Old car calls for further negotiation on asking price

Hope should help !!
