Hi Sir,

I bought a new Figo Sports TDCI which has a tyre size of 195/55 15" Apolli Alnac 4G. I read few articles that Apollo arent that good so thought of giving Figo a better tyre hence changed to Yokohama Earth 1 195/60 15". Will this change the handling of the car? Will it increase the ground clearance? Please help.

It woukd be really helpful if you put forward your tboughts.
PS : Should have taken youe view before the change, anyways please let me know the changes with pros ane cons.

Hello,

Well R15 195/60 is relatively a slight aggressive oversize against the stock tyres
Reason
> Tyre Height increases from 23.4 Inch to 24,2 Inch
> Although no change in Tyre Width as it remains same at 7.7 Inch

The downside
> Impact on Mileage
> Possible impact on Suspension Shocker, Lower Arm
> Odometer Error
> In event of car fully loaded and driven on speed on bad road can possible scrape wheel well area

Positive side
> Sidewall height gaining from 4.2 Inch to 4.6 Inch this will make ride plush
> Steering to be more firm. Although some may call it negative but it improve high speed handling

You can slight reduce Tyre pressure to avoid bounciness in drive if you wish to continue with the given tyres

Hope should help !!
