I have booked Platinum Silver Tata Tiago XZA couple of days back & have requested for the delivery of the vehicle in the 3rd week of Jan'19. While booking i have explicitly told the dealer that i am looking for Dec'18 manufactured or in the worst case Nov'18 manufactured but not before that. Now the dealer has came back saying that Platinum Silver Tata Tiago XZA which they have available in their stock/plant stock is Oct'18 manufactured.I have requested the dealer to place the new order at the plant but they are saying that the plant is not taking up new order before they clear their current inventory.Should i ask the dealer to give me discount since i am buying Oct'18 manufactured car in the month of Jan'19 or should i wait for a month or couple & book 2019 manufactured car (i know 2019 car will be priced more as compared to 2018 model). In case i am asking for the discount, what should be the appropriate discount which i should look for Oct'18 model?

Its perfectly okay and makes no difference for a car whether 2 month old or 3 month old
No Differences. however adding to it - its important for a customer to validate the info and avoid surprises at time of delivery. Do ask dealer the VIN Number and decode it using this VIN Chasis Decode so as to reconfirm the month of Manufacturing

For discount part - been the dealer would be all interested to clear inventory its all based on across table negotiation
