I am looking for a good Feature loaded, spacious 5 seater SUV. Confused in upcoming Tata Harrier and XUV500 which will use as 5 Seater and W7 Automatic with discounts is coming at 17.25 Lakh on road delhi, which will also be price of Harrier XM likely as checked basis predictons

Now XUV500 is available in Automatic, while Harrier would be in Manual. Been Tata Harrier made on Landrover architecture, is it worth to ditch XUV500 W7 Automatic for upcoming Harrier XM Manual or go for XUV500 W7 Automatuc

Greetings !!

Harrier Prices yet to be announced, but yes post discounts on XUV500 of around Rs 65K basis December Offer - here are comments

XUV500 W7 Automatic
> As the name suggest its Automatic - its relatively convenient and there is no clutch pedal.
The sheer convenience of resting left foot, freedom from frequently changing gear is a big advantage in favor of XUV500

> The Infotainment system comes loaded with Android Auto and Apple Car Play in XUV500
The stated feature is missing in Harrier XM. The added convenience of live navigation experience in bigger touchscreen. Also All New Mahindra EcoSense Technology, Voice Command and SMS Read Out, Smart Watch Connectivity with the Vehicle

> Higher up Features - Push Button Ignition, Automatic Climate control (yes Harrier XM comes with Manual AC with heater), 60:40 Split Rear Seat

> Comes Loaded with All 4 disc brakes, ESP, Hill Hold Assist, Hill Decent Control

Tata Harrier XM
> Simply can consider in the fact that Landrover D8 Architectue, Omega Platform and expect the overall fun to drive experience in Harrier to be close to benchmark

> XUV500 Automatic has relative higher engine noise level which seems entering in cabin. As per initial feeler reports - one can get Harrier in superior sound insulation

> Marginally more fuel efficient against XUV500

> Interiors and Exterior Styling of Harrier feels more sporty, Premium

So net all
> If convenience to drive, higher up features, even better safety features and infotainment experience - XUV500 is a pick
> However where care for unmatched ride, handling, sporty styling, relative more premium interiors, better sound insulation - Harrier would be worth

Hope should help !!
