I bought a used car in 2017.Applied for ownership change. But the seller's present address is not matching with the address in rc copy.As I bought it from a middle person seller is denying to provide old address proof as she dont have that. In this situation as a buyer what to do?
Plz suggest a way out..

Hello,

Suggest to get an Affidavit cum declaration sign on Rs 100 Stamp paper where the original owner
> can confirm that she was staying on previous address with address details
> Now she has shifted to new address from the specified date
> Now she is not having any address proof of Old Address and hence can not furnish a copy of old address
> she has sold the car to you and request RTO to transfer vehicle in your name

Basis same, and other documents of ID proof, address proof - suggest to approach RTO for transfer
Ideally should be done.
