Hello,

Low Profile Tyres are not best suited in Indian road conditions
The issue was not only with Ecosport but also was with Innova Crysta earlier - Toyota then changed the wheels to 16 Inch instead of 17 Inch and later on introduced in 17 Inch wheel, by retuning in suspension of Z Variant. Been some of the Ford owners reported in issue and Ford also removed in the 17 Inch Wheel from Titanium Plus. Now this is introduced in Signature and S Edition

Low Profile Tyres are best suited on Good roads, Good Highway condition
Reality remains in Care to drive car on bad roads - the tyres are not best suited in.
However - having said same - both Toyota and Ford seems retuned in suspension so that wheels in the Top End can take on 17 Inch tyres without creating an issue.

Hope should help !!

Hi Gagan, thank you for the information about Low profile tyres in Ecosport.

I am planning to buy Signature edition of Ecosport... What do you suggest, should i go for it or not as i am also concerned about the same. Roads in Bangalore are pathetic condition and there are potholes everywhere.

Please advise should i go for the Signature Edition or not.

Thank You.

I’ve just owned a new ecosport S a month ago I’m driving very carefully keeping view on road conditions in most of time my average speed after 3000 km is just 30km/hr maximum 100 Kmph on highway
Getting fuel average 20.5 km/l
But I’m sorry to say that one my tyre got minor cut near wheal with abrasion on alloy...
I think ford should seriously look into the matter when they’re providing 17 inches wheal.
They’re playing with the money and life of Indian people
They promised us about the correction done to suspensions and make me convinced that no such thing would happen and everything would be taken care about
But I don’t think that they’ve done sufficiently

Yes sir the problem still persists in november and december.i am the latest victim of it from faridabad, haryana.
Two tyres rendered useless in ten months(purchased the car in january)due to low quality.
These tyres are not at all suited for indian roads and pose a serious threat to the user.
The service centre has replaced the tyres under but what after the warranty period of one year gets over.
