Resolved Base model Ford Freestyle confusion with Accessories List

Dear Gagan sir.
Good morning.

As ford freestyle is really making a trend with value for good ownership cost. I'm wondering between base model and trend model of petrol. They carry a price difference of Rs 1 Lac OR.

Definitely there are many extras been added to trend model of that price. Personally i don't prefer touch screen infotainment as freestyle offering across all range except base model.

Kindly suggest, will it be a smart buy, if i go with the base model ignoring music system, fog lamp, rear power windows etc. And can i add all these at dealer's point on a reasonable cost (without harming warranty). I went through your post regarding freestyle accessories where i couldn't find what I'm missing in base model.

Hello,

Yes - Ford Freestyle Ambiente Model is absolute value and can go with it
However
> Rear Door Power window - Unsure if its available as accessory but is not useful, as even if fitted the rear door power window can not be operated from driver side
> Music System - yes there are choices available at dealer end, may check out
> Fog Light - can well be fitted at dealer or at workshop as part of spare
Also - advisable to go in for Engine Guard for under-neath protection as in rare case of a stone hitting in oil filter - can cause Engine to stall due to oil leakage
