I am planning to buy premium hatchback. My main consideration is spacious cabin and comfortable rear seats that can accommodate 3 adults. After exploring available options, I have zeroed in Honda Jazz CVT.

The only worry I have is the low sales figure of Jazz. In my view if Jazz has low sales, Honda might discontinue Jazz in coming years. This might lead to scarcity of spare parts and hit resale value.

Can you please share your view on Honda Jazz.

It is learnt that shortly a facelift of Jazz is going to be launched but not going to be discontinued.

Honda Cars India is trying to pick sales of Jazz by offering in discounts

But - yes Jazz is facing tough times due to
> Sibling Amaze
> Baleno and now I20 CVT also been launched in

The fact remains that Honda Cars India to focus on premium segment
> WRV - Jazz based cross
> New Amaze
> Honda City
> Near Future launches of all new Honda Civic, CRV

Honda Jazz new generation model is already launched in International markets, but we in India as of now have no updates on to it or hints of launch in 2018. If sales do not pick up as per expectation - probability of non-performing cars to be axed in always well remains

Hope should help !!

Honda Jazz is certainly a good choice, I being a proud owner of one. I presume you are comparing sales figures of Honda Jazz with those of Baleno and I20 but let me tell you Honda's production capacity is much lesser than of the other two companies, so Honda rolls out much fewer cars than its competitors. Jazz has a steady sale of 1000 cars per month and those who are price conscious cannot go for a quality product with Honda tag.
