Hi,

I am a resident of Gurgaon(Haryana)
I am about to purchase a used Ford Fiesta (petrol). Purchased on 26/09/2006(not the top model but it is having all features like Power steering, Power windows, Central locking etc.) 58000 Kms done.
Overall It will cost me around 1.8 lacs.

My question is.. Is it worth buying ?? Should I go for this ??
Any suggestions are most welcome.

Please suggest the best.

Many Thanks

I will not suggest due to many factors - Low Mileage, Maintenance and Ford Fiesta (aka Classic now) already a beaten down car in sales.

If you considering Used Petrol Sedan - best buy would be Honda City. However you may have to stretch budget to at best 2.5 Lakh for similar running and make year - but its much better car, deal and can prove in long term ownership

Well... Thanks Admin.
But the owner is saying that it is giving a good mileage of 17kmpl on highways and 15 in local.
This car is also equipped with all accessories.
What ? If I say I am gonna ride this car for 3 years only and after this I will buy a new one.
Please suggest.

Dear, Ford Fiesta is a car with no resale value. The car you are talking about is able to respond with a mileage of 14-17 kmpl maximum mileage. So, in terms of mileage, this car is not totally worth it. Also the car will require more maintenance as compared to other cars.
Instead of this car, I will recommend you to opt a car like Maruti Swift Dzire, one of the best sedan with good and appreciable features. the car will respond will a good mileage and is tryst worthy too as being a part of Maruti Family...

I wont buy the logic - 15 Kmpl mileage in 2006 Fiesta for city driving in NCR !! :o
Have never heard of !!

Any how - if you have made up your mind for the model - basis body condition, features - may certainly try to negotiate a price. All the best !
